**What the charity does:** Friends of Arbroath High School is the joint Parent Council and PTA.  We donate to school to assist with departments where funding is not available for the items requested.  We also provided funds to the prize giving and purchase school ties for each new pupil in 1st year.

**Objectives:** The objectives of the Association are to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at Arbroath High School not normally provided by the Local Education Authority and as an ancillary thereto, and in furtherance of this objective the Association may • Promote relationships and co-operation between staff, pupils and others associated with the school. • Engage in activities which support Arbroath High School and advance the education of the pupils attending it. • To identify and represent the views of the parents on the education provided and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the pupils.
