SNAP provides a stimulating playscheme for young people aged 5-16 all of whom have Additional Support Needs.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people','People with disabilities or health problems'

Objectives: 1. To eveolve,establish, develop and maintain an adventure playground for children with all types of special needs, their families and friends. 2. To encourage inclusive play within the community. 3. To provide support for famillies with children with special education needs and to encourage continued use of the facilities as these childen grow to adulthood through a variety of social activities. 4. To provide a facility for use by schools, playgroups and community projects within East Kilbride and the Lanarkshire area catering for children with special educational needs. 5. To promote and orgnaise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end bring together, representatives of the statutory bodies and voluntary organisations engaged in the furtherance of the above purposes 6. To do all other things as will propoerly attain the above purpose without bias to race, creed or sex.
