A dedicated group of volunteers then began to collect and KHS is now situated in the old school at Balallan which has been developed as a community hub and offers a wide range of services. Among these are two museum rooms, an archive, a heritage store and workshop, conference space, charity shop, laundrette and office rental. The Society publishes books which are significant to the history, heritage & culture of the area. The community hub also facilitates the Warm Hub service where members of the community can meet and have their lunch at a suggested price that they can pay or pay whatever they can. Kinloch Historical cannot function without the valuable service given by our volunteers.
