Achievements and performance We celebTated our 60th S&qson with OUT usual winter programme of six chamber rnusic concerts, alongside two s(andalone events.. A Night ai ihe 0￿ra, with singers and orchesira from Classical Musicians Scotland, and our popular summer jazz night. We continued our colldboration Thqih Perth Chamber Music to fund dnd orgdnise music workshop from the Thistle Trio in local schools, and have inviied local schnol pupils io play at our AGM. The trnstees consider that the level of reserves held ai the year end enables the socieiy 10 promote a similar series of conceris and workshops in the fuiure. Page 2 Strathearn Music Society Report of the trustees for the year ended 15 April 2026 Plans for future periods We are in the piDcess of finalising details for our coming season, 2026 - 2027, but we can promise a saxophone, a baroque ensemble, and pianist Murray McLachlan celebrating Beeihoven's bl¢en￿nary, alongwiih a siring irio and iwo contiastinu duos of violiii and accordion, dnd euphoniuin and percussion. We shall dlso be hAving ￿nOther Standalone concert, this tinie fTnJn the Scnttish Clarinet Choir, who are very definitely noi a chamber ensejnble. Ti£iditiOll(Illy we always held oui conLeits on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm, apait fiom the bummei jaL£ concert which ]% held on the Friday evening neare%1 to mid8uinmer'% night. Over the next two %ea8on% we are experimenting with the times and days of our conceris. We hope that this ￿￿1] atiract new audience members. The Clarinet Choir will pertorni on a Sunday afteTnoon at 3pm and the first concert of our 2027 2028 season has already been booked for a Saturday evening. lil June 2026 we dre tdking P
