**What the charity does:** Financial support for improvement projects for amenities and beautification of Greyfriars Kirk.

**Objectives:** The Society shall have for its objects: (a) The care of the Church and its preservation for posterity. (b) The adornment and furnishing of the Church. (c) The safeguarding of the amenity of the Church and the beautifying of its surroundings. (d) The encouragement of research into the history of the Church, and of the publication of suitable literature. (e) Generally, the support of any object connected with or incidental to the care and improvement of the Church whether within the scope of the foregoing objects or any of them or otherwise, which shall have the approval of the Council of the Society. (f) The collection of money for all or any of the foregoing objects. The above objects shall always be subject to the powers of the General Trustees of the Church of Scotland and to the approval of the Kirk Session.
