Summar
of the main artivities in r
I tlon to these ob'ects
The years aim5 were set out at the first committee meeling where it was decided that we
would like to see some new introductions to the syllabus such as a successful curling night
and Skating night being held at Lockerbie Ice rink. This year also saw the return of the annual
concert after a one-year break. It was a Breat two lll8hts had by all where ernerging future
stars of the show putting on a great performance that ha5 set the bar high for the next
concert. Another new introduttion to the syllabus wa5 a tractor run held in aid of Air
Arnbulance where an amazing £500 was raised on the day. Annandale excelled in regional
and national competition5 such as winning the Dumfries show handicraft with 3 teams
entered and getting placed in stockmanship competitions. As we look back on the year, the
members of Annandale young farmer5 would like to express their gratitude to everyone
behind the scenes that made a much successful year possible from the Advisory committee
to the venue hosts to name a few.
