We continue to foster Esprit De Corps as experienced whilst Servicemen and women had during their Regular Army Service. We provide financial assistance where required and hold regular events which our ex Argylls can take part in. We hold Memorial Services each year in numerous locations and hold Battlefield tours of areas where we participated in conflicts. Providing funeral assistance for out former members n]and their families, often providing Pipers to play at the funerals. The Association also perticipates with our local authorities to support Military and civic events.

Objectives: (1) To promote the welfare of its members, and particularly to help the men while serving to prepare for civil life (2) To assist serving members on discharge or transfer to the Army Reserve to obtain employment (3) To foster a feeling of esprit de corps amongst all ranks, past and present, and to keep up connection with old comrads (4) To aid men when on travel in search of employment by paying their railway fares and lodgings (5) To give financial assistance or gifts in kind to its members, or widows or children of members who are in distressed circumstances (6) In case of death to provide for the burial of any member, if aid is required (7) To make grants, payable at stated intervals, to aged and infirm members for the purpose of paying house rents (8) To help men in needy circumstances, and who are unable to work, to be placed in Charitable Institutions (9) To assist widows of deceased members in getting their children nominated for Schools or other Charitable or Benevolent Institutions
