The Group Trustee Board is a Scottish Charltable organtsation meeting
quatety to disujss current and fvlure malters and rewrd minutes. It
ccrfnprises person assoGialed with the Scout Group and are all
volunteers. The section lead volunteers and assistsnts undergo training.
The Group has adopted OSCR n￿¢￿IS and temptstes and ￿mplIeS
with any updates.

Group provides recreational facilities (Sts)ul Hall) in a safe environment
ty the organisation of ath"vits'es by the section volunteers and their
assistants. The group is conb'nuing to grow in all sections.

in relation to these objects
The Group carries out aGtiYities and services for ail se¢tions, categorised
by age into Beavers. Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. These activities are
open to all. regardless of race, religion or ability. Activities compnse
recreational trips. games. camps and educational instruction. Increasing
the aclivibes on offer has allowed the group lo fvrther expand the
benefits to the young people of fy)urC￿ and surrounding area.

Achievements and perfomiance
Beavers (aged 54) Have fun with recreational events, arts & crafts. and I
exuting activities.
Cubs (aged &101 Expand further their competence in a broad range of
skills. induding photography, saence, basic first aid and spjrts. Short
amps are used to get the young peop￿ xtive in the outdoors.
Scouts (aged 10-141 Longer camps and short expeditions help the
young people develop their scouts'ng S￿11$. There is a broadenin9 of
interactions with other scout groups, which build leadership skills and
citizenship. Scouts provide hdp for our annual Senior ¢it￿en$, Christmas
dinner.

EXplo￿r5 (aged 14-18} Undertake more advanced activities such as
dimbing, muntainwing and skiing. Explorers help with younger
sections as part of ¢)ur Young Leader pr(yramTh.
The Trustee Board is to wovide a safe environment for the activities ol
the group. Tho trustee's manages the group's hall and minibus and
raises funds for ongoing Maintenan￿ and utilities. The trustee
's also plans socrdl events to bring parents together.
The group continuos to develop our h811 (Coppermine Communrty
Centrel lo the b8nefft of the WKler communty.
The group held a successful group camp in 2024 to cekbrate our 115
year.
