**What the charity does:** The aim of the Fun Hut is to provide a safe, stimulating and friendly environment where children and their carers can relax and enjoy themselves in good company. To also encourage and enhance the development of children by offering them stimulating toys and activities, and access to safe outdoor play areas.  The group runs twice a week, usually runs outdoors, to help children and their grown-ups build confidence in an outdoor setting, with an indoor option available if required to ensure sessions can run whatever the weather. Some of the expected benefits of encouraging outdoor play include building confidence, being physical, using imagination, being creative, learning about the environment, emotional growth, and having fun! Stimulating toys, safe and engaging play areas, stories, singing and healthy snacks are provided for all children from babies to preschool children both outdoor and indoors.
