Governlng Document The Association is a charitable unincorporated association, and the purposes and administration arrangements are set out in the constitution. Charltsble Purposes Our purpose, as recorded in the constitution. is to provide support for paediatric pathology in the United Kingdom. Outputs: The annual Gener31 meeting was held online in May 2023. Thls meeting also includes the review of the External Quality Assurance programme for paediatric and perinatal pathologists in the UK and Ireland. There are approximately 70 full members of BRIPPA Isubject to retirementsl and 6 associate members. New members are due to be confirmed at the BRIPPA AGM in May 2023. During 2023, the expenditure wag for maintaining 8RIPPA website and IT support for the online AGM.

The committee 15 to place new proposals for expenditure by the Association before the membership at the AGM in 2023. Achievements: The association has continued throughout the year to provide advice on matters of paediatric pathology to the Royal College of Pathologist5 and to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child He3lth. It has also supplied speakers to various scientiflc meetings on matters of paediatric pathology. The a550ciation has also been a vehicle for the dissemination of information to all members of the Paediatric Pathology Society. The association also,supports and its members present in the Paediatric Pathology Training Days that. provide training and education to specialist and general histopathology trainees in the UK. Impact.. The Association has maintained the profile of paediatric pathology at the national level. Trustee Remuneration and expenses None Reserves As a result of the deficit of income over the expenditure of -£767.80 for the year, the association holds unrestricted funds of £16071.30 at the year end. This includes membership dues. We plan to spend some of this on the BRIPPA website, providing prizes for trainee pathologist5 at future AGMS and plan to dlscuss use of the accrued monies again at the 2024 AGM. Res ectlve res onslbilitles of trustee5 and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts Iscotlandl Regulations 2006. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 4411) Icl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention, Basis of inde endent examinews statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the charities Accounts Iscotlandl Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
