The primary purpose of the Trust is to apply the funds of the Trust for such charitable purposes as the trustees may from time to time decide upon an in particular for the advancement of peace espoused by George MacLeod. The Trustees will only consider applications from individuals or groups who in their opinion most clearly demonstrate an intention to further the primary purpose of the Trust. The application will also have to prove that the individual/group will be achieved in a tightly controlled and cost-effective fashion.

Objectives: For payment or application of the whole free income (or even the capital) of the Trust Fund from time to time in the Trustees' charge to or for such charitable purposes as the Trustees may from time to time decide and in making such decision the Trustees should bear in mind (but without fettering their decision) my interest in work for the advancement of peace, all in such manner and in such proportions as the Trustees shall in their sole discretion think fit.
