**What the charity does:** The playgroup works in line with Curriculum for Excellence, The National Care Standards and Realising the Ambition Being Me to provide children with experiences and interactions necessary to reach their full potential within a caring and nurturing setting which allows wellbeing, communication, curiosity, inquiry and creativity to flourish.  Children are actively engaged in learning through appropriate play opportunities both indoors and outdoors. These opportunities are planned in response to the needs and interests of the children where opportunities for children to make real choices and decisions are important.

**Objectives:** The aim of the group is to advance the education and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience, so that they take a constructive place in the community and also to advance the education of their parents and other appropriate persons.
