**What the charity does:** Denny and Dunipace Citizens Advice Bureau is a local charity set up to provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to people living in Denny, Dunipace, Bonnybridge and surrounding communities. Our purpose is to help individuals and families understand their rights, overcome problems, and improve their financial stability, wellbeing and quality of life—particularly at times of crisis or vulnerability.  We ensure that everyone, regardless of income, background or circumstances, can access high-quality advice when they need it most. Many of the people who come to us are facing complex and distressing situations, including poverty, debt, benefit problems, risk of homelessness, disability, poor mental health, employment issues, or the ongoing impact of the cost-of-living crisis. Often, clients present with multiple overlapping issues and feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure where to turn.  What We Do  We provide advice, information, and casework support across a wide r

**Objectives:** Objects   4 The company has been formed to benefit principally the area of West Falkirk region (Denny, Dunipace, Banknock, Bonnybridge,Haggs, Larbert, Stenhousemuir and surrounding areas) (the “Area of Benefit”) with the following objects:   4.1 the advancement of education through (but not limited to) providing individuals with information, clarification and understanding of legislation and their legal rights and responsibilities.    4.2 the relief of those in need through (but not limited to) (i) assessing individuals’ entitlement to welfare benefits. (ii) providing assistance in claiming benefits. and (iii) assisting individuals to appeal against refusal of benefits.   4.3 the advancement of health through (but not limited to) providing a comprehensive advice service which seeks to address individuals’ problems and thereby alleviates the injury to health, stress and anxiety caused by unsolved problems. and   4.4 the advancement of community development through (but not limited to) recruiting, training and developing local citizens to be volunteers in and for the Bureau, who in turn assist members of the public within the Area of Benefit, and in doing so contribute to the development of the Area of Benefit.   4.5 The advancement of civil and human rights by ensuring that people do not suffer through ignorance of their civil and human rights and by taking such actions as are intended to redress the situation and redress wrongs and restore justice   5 The company’s objects are restricted to those set out in article 4 (but subject to article 6).   6 The company may (subject to first obtaining the consent of OSCR) add to, remove or alter the statement of the company’s objects in article 4. on any occasion when it does so, it must give notice to the registrar of companies and the amendment will not be effective until that notice is registered on the register of companies.  6.1 Where the objects are being promoted outwith the defined area of local benefit the Company may work with other organisations with similar aims but shall at all times adhere to the agreed principles for the operation of Citizens Advice Bureau set out from time to time by the Scottish Association of Citizens Advice Bureau.       .
