The main activities of the Church in the financial year were public worship in sacram8nt and
prayer and pastoral ¢are.

from the congregation. Activities carried out includ8 conlributsons lo the ¢onéu¢l of worship.

activities and contributions lo the ecumenical and civic life of the loGal cotntnunity. R￿ular

Achievements and Perlormance
The main activity of the Church during the year was the Parish Euchari51 on Sunday ffltsrning
at 11..30am. An eadier said eu¢harisl 1$ held most Sunday5 at and the regular
Wednesday eucharist continues. Fomi8 of worship for use at home tailored to the liturgical
season and written Sermons have continued to be supplied by email or post for the
housebound and those unable to get lo Church regularfy, and the FaGebook pa9e Gontinue$
lo be used for communications.
A short8ned version of Ihe Iradftlonal Nine Lessons Carols was he￿ on Sunday 1
December 2023, followed by refreshments in the Chur¢h Hall. Member5 of the GOn9￿98110n
mel for lunch on Sunday 28 January 2024, in a local ho181, and there was a parish lunch in th8
church hall on Penl8COSt119 May 20241 to wel￿m& our visitin9 ActirvJ Bishop
The priest in Gharge and members of the congregatk)n took part in th8 Holy W88k 8curnenical
CommunKJn B￿akfaSt5 in the Methodi51 Church.
There continu8 to be a small number of hall lets for community use during the year. The
¢harily stslls in the hall during the Kracker were once again held in D8cemb8r.

Resulls for the year
The General Fund had a deficit of £6,655 in 2023124, 8fter transferrSng Investment income
from endowments of £788 to support the ¢ost of fflini5try. Cingregalional giving 15 £3.018
less than in 2022123. Gr8nl funding of £3,000 was given by the Dr John Anderson Trust. H811
lets generated £175 and funds of £840 wer8 raised by a numb8r of initiatnies. ¢ororegalion.

The General Fund 15 overspent in cash lemis
by £1.336. off5el by investments of £1.495.
There are th￿e hypothecated funds which are included in Unr8Stri¢ted Funds.. th8 Repairs
and maintenan￿ Fund 15 to be used to fund the programme of works recommended in the
quinquennial inspe¢tion. There wa5 no expenditure during 2023124 and the balan￿ stands
at £4,035. A donation made lo the chur¢h in 2019121 wa$ Sel aside to purchase two Sets of
new vestments 2nd to renovate the church sacristy. The veslmenls have been pur¢has8d
and the sa¢ri5ty Garpet ￿plaCed in previou5 year5 and there has been no further expenditure.
The baLqnce on this fund is £2.253. The Paying Offl¢s¢s a¢¢ount had a ba￿nGe of £2.097 at
