The James & Grace Anderson Trust has been operating to best support individuals living with cerebral palsy, and others working in research, treatment and care for the benefit of those with the condition, since 1966. The James and Grace Anderson Trust exists to promote research into a cure for, or the alleviation of cerebral palsy through grant making to individuals, organisations and researchers.

Objectives: (One) Instituting or supporting (or both) all manner of experimental and other research work related in any known or purported or possible way to the investigation of cerebral palsy (Three) the like to find a cure and to give treatment and relieve suffering (Four) The financial and other encouragement of efforts towards providing mechanical and other aids to its victims (FIVe) Clinics for examination of and advice either gratuitously or at least on terms estimated to do no more than meet the relative expenses (Six) Aiding in all or any schemes public or private for purposes the same as or similar to the purposes of teh Trust (Seven) Grants of money to any persons who are able to satisfy the trustees that they are qualified to prosecute studies which may be helpful to the purposes of the Trust and that the grants will be so used. (Eight) The preperation of and publication of reports transactions end books and the establishement and running of a magazine or journal and the marketing of all of these and (Nine) Providing for the delivery of lectures on subjects which may be helpful to the purposes of teh Trsut or the establishing of a chair or lectureship for the same purposes.
