**Objectives:** (a) to protect, conserve, improve and enhance salmon, trout and such other species of fish as the Trustees think fit, together with their ecological cycles in the Tay Salmon Fisheries District for the benefit of the public. and (b) to advance education, training, study and research in connection therewith and to make the results of such study and research, whether carried out by or on behalf of the Foundation or by others, available to the public. and (c) to establish and maintain links with public sector agencies, charitable organisations and other relevant bodies worldwide.
