**What the charity does:** Lochinver Pre-School Centre Association is a registered charity which has previously been registered with the Highland Council and the Care Inspectorate to provide pre-school education for children in Assynt. From 2011, day to day operations were managed by Care & Learning Alliance, paying an annual rent to LPSCA.  In 2023 Highland Council took over the running of the ELC, paying annual rent to LSCPA. The committee, which is made up of parents/carers of attending children, aims to meet up several times a year, and is responsible for organising fundraising and maintaining the Pre-School building.  It also helps to pay for any extras that will benefit the children.

**Objectives:** The association's objects are: a) To advance the education of and the opportunities for pre school and primary school aged children in Assynt. b) To promote and fundraise for play facilities for public use in Assynt. c) To encourage and support other charitable activities through which services and facilities for children will be developed and/or established.
