**What the charity does:** Ladybird playgroup provides a safe and stimulating environment in which children feel safe, secure and nurtured. With their wellbeing needs met in every child, we promote positive attitudes to self and others and to develop confidence and self esteem. We promote the welfare of children and treat them with dignity and respect at all times. We create opportunities to learn through play, promoting the diversity of our children, while stimulating learning through interest and imagination. We seek out the views of both our children and parents/carers and encourage them to fully participate in playgroup life. We actively encourage the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of our children preparing them to transition to their next steps in their educational journey. We support our families and the wider community through our 'Ladybird Larder' collecting and utilizing waste foodstuffs from Greggs, Co-op, KFC, Asda, lidl and Aldi.
