Members of the Klrk Sesslon and the Congregatlonal Oaard the tharlty trnstees. The Klrk Sesslon
members are the elders of the chufch and are chosen from those members of the church who are
conside￿d to have the appropriate gffts and skllls. The minlster, who is a member of the Klrk Sesslon, Is
elected by the con8regation and irhlucted by Presbytffji.

We are a ctntre ol worship and teaching in the midst of one of the most deprived parlshes in the
ountry and hold worshlp servkes every Sunday with Bible Study durlng the week There are groups
caterln8 for the needs of the members of the Gongregation 5uth as Sunday school, Bible Study Groups,
Pastoral Care Group, Magazlne Athisers. Social Actiwties Team, GK Experience for Youth Outreach,
Monday Manoeuvre5.Recycled Teenagers. Hobbies aub. Keppoch Campus Learnin8 hubs, Good 35 New
Shop and Friday Flll-UP for free meals wlth a Community chest collertlng food ft)r desknlute people

The Congregation also acts as host for a number of tharitable organisations- Alcohollc knonymou5, four
Cocalne Anonymous 8roups one of whlch Is Iranlan. Iwo Narcotics groups, a Rape Crfsls Drop in 5eNce,
North West Recovery Communlties Cafe, See the Person for adults with learning needs. Hospitals and
Institutions Committee, Kinship Carers and Arthrrtus Care. This year we opened our doors to the Sroups
from the Community Centre when it was without heating. We participated in community projects such
as Possil loves airlstmas, Sharlng Cowlalrs and pretty pathways to Sthogl.
Also, on Sundays the Assembty of God and the Ll8hthouse Church. both Pentecostal con8regatlons meet
for thelr worshlp. Once a year the Cowcaddens Dlstrict hold theSr Di¥ine SeNce in our premlses. We
a150 have tofflmerdal lets, whlch are Slimmin8 Wodd, the Constttuency Labour Party and the
Counclllor's Surgery.

Our con8regatfon contlnues to stsnd fimi, bearln8 wltnes5 to the love of G¢)d and the misslon of the
Church of Scotland In Possilpark, as we offer a safe and wekomlro space for whosoever. We are
8rowlng both In numbers and Chrlstian maturtty. and ¢wr Klrk Se55ion Is wothn8 hard to di5cem how
best we might serve our wider community.
The reputatlon of the church Is enhanced by the level of wmmitment to exwesslng the love of God In

Althou8h total rec•lpts have Incr•ased by approxlmately £2.000 . Ell536 had to be drnwn down from
the General Trustees to help fund new Radiators and toilets. DOna￿On$ have also $18nlflcantly reduced
due to an anonymous donatton of £12,IXiO receiveAI in 2023.
The accoutts show an increase In expendlture of over £7.000. due to increases In He•t and Ilght of
£4,500 and cleaThn8 of É2,500.
Reserves Pollcy
Over the part few years thère have ben Insuffldènt fun& ralsed to m•èt non proprty costs Thls year
£11,536 was drawn down from The General Trustees to fund the fabrlc costs which were £19.122
Usuolly* fundin8 of fabric cosis 15 very much dependent on the investments held and the Trustees
believe it Is prudent to contlnue to retaln ttr￿ lor thTS Ixirpose. At the end of the year our Ger)eral
Fund balance stood at £15,806.
The churth has no restricted or endowment funds at the present tlme.

All Church of Scotland con8re8ations tantribute to the National Stipend Fund ￿th*ch bears the costs of a
mlnlsters, ￿pendS and employer's contributTons for national insurance, pension and housing and loan
fund. Stipends are paid in •ttordance with the national stipend scale, which is related to years of
service. For the year under review, the minirnum sdpend was £31.642 and the maximum stipend (ln the
