**What the charity does:** SSW Provide funded and self funded artist residencies and workshop access for artists and makers from the local, national and international arts community. We also provide free creative activities and support for our local community in Lumsden.  Provision of skills development opportunities are also provided through courses  and  open access to our workshop at subsidised rates. We support caregivers and prioritise access to our facilities for people with disabilities and a range of needs.

**Objectives:** The Objects for which the Company is established are:- (1) To promote, maintain, improve and advance education particularly by the encouragement of the study, practice and knowledge of the art of Sculpture and to stimulate and educate the public interest in this and other related artistic and cultural fields and for these purposes and to provide facilities for the practice by members of the company and others for making Sculpture in metal, wood, metal casting and any other processes that can be facilitated, and for the exhibition of work produced by these techniques and the sale of any work and to formulate, prepare and establish schemes therefor provided that all objects of the company shall be exclusively charitable.
