## **Recruitment and appointment of Trustees** 

All of Coats Choral Trustees are appointed or reappointed by the Members at the Annual General Meeting which is held annually in May or co-opted as permitted by the constitution. 

## **Governing Document** 

Coats Choral is a charitable unincorporated association, and the purposes and administration arrangements are set out in its Constitution. 



**Actvites** The Choir of 71 members conducted by Musical Director Alison Mc Neill, met weekly from early January until mid-March 2026 when it performed a concert in Paisley Abbey accompanied by Glasgow Chamber Orchestra and guest soloists. 

The programme included Hagenberg Illuminare and Vivaldi Gloria. 

## **Reserves** 

Following another successful concert (360 tickets sold), the balance of accounts was boosted by £2606.06 

The trustees felt that after the income generated by ticket sales last year, we were in a position the contribute to the Paisley Abbey, therefore a donation of £1000 was made in May 2025 towards building maintenance. 

Coats Choral are now holding unrestricted funds at the 31[st of] March 2026 of £17,555.36 

The Trustees consider this balance of funds more than adequate to meet all necessary expenditure that might arise in the near future.
