**What the charity does:** We as a District oversee scouting across several scout groups across the Perth & Kinross area. We act as a conduit between groups and the central scouting teams. Provide training and assistance to groups by way of advice and guidance in aspects of running groups and also provide financial assistance through the provision of grants where funds received directly by District. We also collect members annual subscriptions and forward these to central scouting. Major trips are also organised through the District with training and collections of fees undertaken.

**Objectives:** Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society
