annual Guildl¢hurclblBB fayreslfairs. The church also offers its sUPPOrt to Christian Aid through the Strawberry Tea and
Lent Lunches: have a North Ayrshi￿ worl￿￿'S Aid collection point a￿j the congregation is also hu8ely supportive of
the annual Blyihswcd Shoeknx Appea]. with lllmdreds of IK)xes being donated every year.
Remembering the les5 fortunate in our cotnTnunity at Harvesl-time and during AdvenL nKmber5 of Junhor Church and the
ongrrgat50n a¢ross ihe parish dO￿ted items to the lo¢al FI￿ Banks and offered gifts to Ix distributed ai Christmas. The
Largs Food Bank continues to based in the Centcnary Lounge located in Largs Parish Church with a donalion point in
Fairlie. while do￿110￿5 for the North Ayrthire Ardrossan Fo(xlbank continue ￿ be re¢eived at St Columba's. Several
fellowship groups supporting those with addietions are ￿ld in the parish.

The principal souice of regular income is the weekly Freewill Offering supplemented by Gift Aid rtrlaims. Th¢ a¢¢ounts

The accounts have been prepared on an acc￿￿lS basis ar￿ the cash deficit for the year VdS £109,264. Inveslments
increased in value during ihe year. held in a nuth of forn￿ arwj with various principals. from £942.124 to £1.009,130,
an in¢rease of £67,005 that reduced the cash deficit from £109.264 to £42.258. This 15 unsustainable.
Investment Policy
Curnbrae. Fairlie and Largs Parish ChU￿h uses the Chur¢h of Scotland Investors Tnw io inveM ￿nds. Funds are
distrib￿ed bet%veen the Growth Fund and Income Fund. The church also holds investmenis with Aviva. M&G
Investmen15 and Lloyd5 Banking Group.

Invest￿entS held by General Tru5tee5 of the Church of Scotland have all been transferred into the Thame of
Cumbr&e. Fairlie & Largs Parish Church Icongregation number 0704371. However. dlle io the praaicalities
involved, titlc to the invesl]ntn(s which were directly htld by the other congregations has noi yet all been
transferred 10 the remaining Charity. Funds do still remain in bank accounts of the legacy congr¢gations at ihe
balance sheei dale. Further, title to the properties originally held by the other con8re8ations has not yet been
transfered ¢0 the rem3itsing ¢haTity.
As part of the Tru5tttS' TEview of lit1¢5 lo a55ets in relalion to the above matter& it has eome to light that eertain
p¥operties lincluding church buildings), which were noi previously accounted for on the basis that they were
thought to b¢ Yested with ihe General Trustees of the Church of Sc(Ml8nd. were in fact held directly by ihe
individual ¢ongregaiions. Final detaÉl& in¢ludin8 an appropriate valu*ion have still io be confimied and these
assets have not been sn¢lthded in the balance Sheet at 31 Dectmber 2024. In relation to the propertie5 that are
intluded in the balance sheet. ￿ fomlai valuatithb5 have ¢arricd out in recent year5 and are considered to be
less than ihe current market value.
The current Tru5ttes include TNsltts of all five original Congre￿I0￿S and all relevant assets are under their
