**What the charity does:** St Andrew&#x27;s Clermiston was establish in 1954 as the Church of Scotland&#x27;s parish for the (then) newly built housing scheme of Clermiston and Parkgrove. It exists to glorify God and to work for the advancement of Christ&#x27;s Kingdom throughout the world. It offers regular Sunday worship as well as a focal point for the marking of National occasion&#x27;s such as the King&#x27;s coronation and Remembrance Day. Recognising its place in the community, St Andrew&#x27;s makes its premises available to people of all faiths and none through letting its hall for use by uniformed organisations (Scouts and Guides,) local fitness and other activity groups and other non-secular activities. Through various fund and resource generating activities through the year, St Andrew&#x27;s support two other charities such as the Salvation Army&#x27;s Christmas Toy Collection, regular donations to the Edinburgh north-West Foodbank .
