The charity operates and maintains the Whitehall Theatre in Dundee both to preserve its heritage and to make it available for use in the advancement of the arts, heritage and culture.
Objectives: The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the Trust Subjects upon trust at their discretion and retain the same or let the Trust Subjects at such rent and on such terms and conditions as the Trustees in their sole discretion may determine, provided always that such let shall be to the Company in which to promote, maintain, improve and advance education, particularly by the production of educational plays and the encouragement of the arts, including the arts of drama, mime, dance, singing and music and to formulate, prepare and establish schemes therefor, provided that the main objects of the Company shall generally conform to those of the Trust.
