Ferryfield Nursery & Playgroup is a community-based charity set up to provide high-quality early learning and childcare for young children in our local community. We aim to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment where children can learn through play, develop confidence and independence, and build positive relationships. We do this by providing a range of child-led and planned play and learning experiences, both indoors and outdoors, supported by qualified and experienced staff. We work closely with parents and carers to understand and support each child’s individual needs, development and wellbeing. We also work in partnership with Fife Council and other local organisations to provide funded early learning and childcare and to support children and families within our community. Our work is underpinned by children's rights, inclusion, wellbeing and a commitment to continually improving the quality of our provision.

Beneficiaries: 'Children or young people'

Objectives: Advance the education of pre-school children with emphasis on play experience so that they may take a constructive place in the community in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their quality of life. Provide safe and satisfying group play in which parents take part when appropriate. encourage other charitable activities through which parents may assist. Promote education to parents, carers and other adults, children and teenagers in the furtherance of the aim.: Operating within the provisions of The Children's Act (1989) and other legislation as applicable.
