Wick High School Parent Council exists to support the education, wellbeing and wider school experience of pupils at Wick High School by strengthening partnerships between parents, carers, staff and the school community. We provide a voice for parents in school matters, encourage parental involvement in education, and help create opportunities that enhance learning and personal development for young people. We achieve this by consulting with parents and representing their views, working collaboratively with school leadership, and helping to arrange financial support for projects, resources and extracurricular opportunities that may not otherwise be available through school budgets. We also help build community connections through events and initiatives that promote inclusion, engagement and positive outcomes for pupils. Our work aims to enrich the educational experience of all students and support a thriving school community.
