The charity is to support the aims and ethos of the school as well as to hold it to account when needed. It ensures that parental views are listened to and incorporated into decisions and acts as a link between parent/carers and the school. It will provide financial assistance to allow pupils to enter into events and provide equipment to benefit the pupils that is supplementary to a school budget. It works closely with school inspections and is represented in a wider parent council forum to collaborate with other parent councils to ensure that views and needs are being represented and met.

Objectives: The Objectives of the Parent Council are: To work in partnership with school, its pupils, and its ParentsJCarers and the local community. i ! To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the pupils. I I To identify and represent the views of parentslcarers on the education provided by the school and other matters affecting the education and welfare of the 1 I pupils. To raise funds, apply for and receive grants, and accept gilts for the benefit of the school.
