6 Fin lal R vlew In 2024 church income Increa￿ to £137,611 compared to £107,806 in 2023. However, Kingcase did receiye a legacy of £25,398 from Dr F.. B. Wilson duryng the year and we did withdraw £20.000 from the Cuthbertson Bequest. This distorts trE comparison with 2023. If the legacies and the l￿thdravraI ￿Ere removed our church income would be £92,213 compared with £98,108 last year. Thi8 is a decrease of £3,895 or 4.01% below 2023.. However. the mainstsy of our income is the Glft Aid Donations, the FWO and the Open Plate. The income from these three it8ms decreased slightly from £56.382 In 2023 to £52,471 in 2024. This is a decrease of £3,911 or 6.9%. This decrease was more than offset by the re￿Ipt of the legacy mentioned already. There were also good incomes from the Efforts Fund of £6.419 and contributiorts for the use of our premises of£9,515. On the expenditu￿ side our contributions to Giving to Grow have remairth steady at £50.344 In 2024 we paid £50,344 compared to £50,758 In 2023. The heating and lighting costs this year are £6.450 (￿mpared to £1,475 last year. You may remember we received a substantial refund on our gas healing bills last year. Wrth regard to our property we started the year by decorating the thurth. During the year we had to renew the manse roof to prevent furlher damage caused by falling roof tiles. The oo8t of the new roofwas £19,980 and £20,000 was withdrawn from the Culhbertson Bequestto fund this. Also the nlanse conservatory roof was renthyed the addition of a thick layer of insulation. The above resultèd in a deficit of £24,288 for 2024 compar￿1 to the surplus in 2023 which was £11,278. The Trustees of Cuthbertson B4uest reported that the capital value of trte investment at 31 st De￿rnber 2024 Mras £113,157. This compares to £107,112 as at 31st December 2023. The Bequest generated an income of £3,437 in the year to 314t December 2024. 6 Raserve3 Poll It Is tha Trustees, poliw to hold suffiGEnt reserves to rneet current expendlture including designated funds. At the end of the year the Church heid unrestricted funds of £13,010 of which £1.856 is the Guild and £18 fortha Sunday Funday Club.
