To provide support and grants to working ordained Ministers of the Church of Scotland, their spouse, children, parents or any relative residing with the Minister to prevent or relieve poverty or the advancement of pastoral efficiency in the parish in which they live.
Beneficiaries: 'Other defined groups'
Objectives: 1.1. The Trustees shall hold and apply the Trust Property in such manner as they think fit for any purposes which appear to them in their absolute discretion directed (a) to the prevention or relief of poverty, or (b) to the advancement of pastoral efficiency and thereby the advancement of religion,. 1.2. Without prejudice to the generality of clause 1.1, the Trustees may, amongst others, seek: 1.2.1. to assist any Beneficiary in need of medical, surgical or dental advice or treatment, or any form of care. 1.2.2. to assist any Beneficiary by contributing to the costs of their education and any other related expenses including educational materials, equipment, travel and childcare. 1.2.3. to provide any Beneficiary with transport or access to transportation. 1.2.4. to assist any Beneficiary in maintaining their home and purchasing or maintaining any household appliances or equipment, and 1.2.5. to assist the Beneficiary in performing their duties as a Minister by the purchase of equipment to assist in the performance of these duties in cases where such items might not be affordable without hardship either to the Minister or their family.
