As ai 31 December 2025 the Roll stands at 236. There have been 10 deaths, 2 Iransler8nce8 and 4
new members. Non-m8mb&rs and vi5110rs ar• made mosl w¢lcome by the visilino Mlnl8ters and
members ol the duty welcome team.
Messy Church.
Messy Church brlngs families and indIV￿￿al8 together lor w0￿h1P in a lun and non. Iradilional
environment. It is held on Ihg last Wedwsday ol the month b&lween 4.30 and 6.00 pm in th& Kirk
Hall. It is Christ cenlred. based on crealivily. h05Pitalily at)d Ce￿ratIon and Is designed to allow
everyone lo share fellowship and food tO9elh&r. Messy Church is run by a team ol volunleers and is
supportod by Church members lo help Sn the kilchen and provlde lealcoffeè on arrival. as well as
donated baking from Chalblle membèrs. Attendance has grown in the last year with around 5 or 6
families attendlng on a regular basis as well as individuals. Messy Church have recently organlsed
and sent 43 8hoelx*xes to Eastern Europg lor Christmas, led the Nalivrty geNice in Church and have
been using the new projector lo inlrothce Bible slorlesllhernes. They hold a Summer Session on Ihe
beach as well as Lego sessions during the holiday5. They have purchased new resources to ￿ter lor
the changmio needs ol Iho group. They conllnue to SUPPOrt famil￿$ and individuals by offering free
toiletries and household prothcts through the "Big Hoose Proiecl. as w811 as keepng the sessh)ns
free lor all.

The Church Cholr
The choir again led the Service ol Nine Lessons and Carols in Oecember when Ih9y were joirtd by
friends from other local cholrs. Many thanks lo ou¥ Church grganist, Mrs Janice Nisb8t who agreed lo
organise the music and practice sessions. Donations collected at this $8Nice went lo the Organ FurKI.
The Church Gulld
o￿n lo all members arKI non-membors wilh me8ting8 in lh6 Klrk Hall on the first Thursday ol each
month. Meetings are in the aftèmoon with local speakers on a varigly ol interesting and varied
subjects InclLKling this year the local Foodbank and East Neuk Emergency Trust. The Guild Wofkg
together lo promote ihe Church and rais8 funds lor the Guild. Church and other, usually local.
charities. They have 22 mernbers with a committee ol six. Members and liiends managed lo provide
loas lor the Kirk Sale and thè Christmas Coffee momlng whlch is always well attended by locals and
church goers, as well as organising Ihe World Day ol Praygr Service. Irwlilng Olh¢r local church88. Al
Chrlslmas an afternoon lea al thg Goll Hoiel was onjoyod by all.

As well as ChaltMl&. Ma$$y Chuf¢h. Gulld and Sesslon me8llng8, regular Museum Talks. Communlty
Choir and Chalr Yoga have been added lo &venls laking place in lh8 Hall. Regular annual 8venl8
include Ihg Crail Art Group èxhibition ai Easter. Crail Arts Fegllval and the East N8uk FeslNal as wèll
ag Guild and Charity collee mornings. The Hall is also a popular venue lor private lèis lor celebrallng
nhdays or oiher family celebrallons. New chairs and carpgl purcha¥gd thls year make il a very
cornlortable venue lor any evènl

online. Attendance in person is between 40 and 50 Ivilh many visilois joining Us in the summer and
around 1 S regularty jolning us online. It is greatly appreclaled by the housebound and thos& working
abroad and has made a valuable adjition 10 our Mission and oulreach work.
Our Parish magazinè "Karail", edited by Heather Aird, has conlinu8d to be delivered lo every
household in Crail twice a year, keeping everyono in touch and up to dale with church news and that
ol local groups. Tho lal851 ngws can a150 be lound on our Website and Facebook paggs. Heather also
Drganisgs Ihg printing ol Christrnas cards delivered lo each member giving dates ol Advent and
Chrislrnas Services.

We held a very successlul Plant Sale, Cofftro Morning Collection in May lor Chiistian Ahd Week.
A lotal of £2.295 was raised. Our retiring Collection on Armislice Sunday as w911 as donations al our
Soup and Sandwkh lunch went lo Pwy Scotland and the roliring collection from our Chrisimas Eve
and Chiislmas Day servi¢&$ wenl lo the charity War Child. We also have a colleclion box lor the
Foodbank in the Church. Donation lor coffeehea arter morning worshSp IhSs year have been sent lo
Tearfund.
