**What the charity does:** Scottish Ensemble is a trailblazing arts charity developing inclusive, inspiring and sustainable approaches to classical music and are recognised internationally for our experimental, boundary-pushing work.   Through bold cross-artform collaborations, we present classical music as a living, contemporary artform, reaching audiences worldwide through live performance and digital content. A significant force within Scotland’s cultural ecosystem, we commission new music, collaborate with leading artists and organisations, support emerging and established musicians, and deliver co-designed projects that use music to enhance wellbeing.  Our work is delivered by twelve outstanding string players and a wider freelance network whose world-class skills inspire diverse audiences and champion Scottish culture at home and internationally.

**Objectives:** the advancement of education by the cultivation and improvement of public taste in music, opera, ballet and other fine arts in Scotland and elsewhere.
