Fintry Sports and Recreation Club provides facilities and opportunities to participate in a variety of sports (Squash, Rugby, Football, Indoor Bowling, Fitness) and provides spaces for a cafeteria, bar, meeting rooms, a small village shop, a village museum and drama club storage, in rural West Stirling on land, part of which, is leased from Fintry Community Council and partly on land owned by the Club. To help with fund raising, it has created a subsidiary Community Interest Company, FSRC Trading CIC, which concentrates on non-charitable activities. The Club is run by an elected group of Trustees which includes representatives of each of the activities using the facilities and Fintry Community Council.

Objectives: The objects of the Club are: • to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Fintry and District, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. • to promote the advancement of public participation in sport. • to advance the heritage of Fintry and surrounding areas in relation to its history and people. • the relief of those in need due to the disadvantage of their rural location
