**What the charity does:** Provide water safety and recovery on the Clyde. We do this via our paid officer and volunteers, along with a board of Trustees. We operate two boats, one from Glasgow Green and the other from the Transport Museum. We also maintain nearly 400 lifebuoys which line the banks of the Clyde.

**Beneficiaries:** 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

**Objectives:** The Society's purposes are: 1. 'The prevention of accidents and the saving of life in the rivers, canals and other bodies of water in the greater Glasgow area. 2. Education of the public in lifesaving skills.
