The Trust is set up to support people in the village of Cardross, this may include financial grants or donations in cases of hardship if agreed by the Trustees. We support the Local Scouts, Brownies and Rainbows and also the Tennis Club to fund junior coaching. We provide free use of our land for the Scouts, Tennis Club, Bowling Club and Football Club. We also provide the Village Park which is the main green space within the village. The Trust was set up in 1937 after being left donations from land owners of the time, these funds have been invested and have grown over time which is how we fund the Trust activities.

Objectives: The objects and purposes of the Trust are to inaugurate carry on or assist in either financially or in any other way any scheme purpose society or object which in the opinion of the Trustees for the time being may in any way promote the material moral social and intellectual welfare of the inhabitants of Cardross or in the improvement or preservation of its amenity and to undertake the custody of or help to develop any object or undertaking having similar objects.
