The charity was set up in 1951 for the relief of poverty, for the advancement of education and religion, and for the benefit of the community as a whole. We give grants to a wide range of charities in Dundee and its surrounds, and in Scotland as a whole if the remit is of benefit to all Scottish citizens. We give to UK charities operating throughout the United Kingdom and at times abroad.
