## NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS 

1. TRUSTEES. The trustees during the period were the members of the Committee of the Society.

2. CONSTITUTION. The legal form of the Society is a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation) 

3. PURPOSES OF THE SOCIETY. The aims and objectives are the study and practice of choral and other music, especially that of JS Bach, in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance. 

4. ACHIEVEMENTS IN PERIOD. Three concerts were performed during the year featuring the music of Bach, Bruckner, Britten, Handel and others. 

5. RESERVES. There is only one (general) fund and it is unrestricted. 

6. RECEIPTS. The main sources are members’ subscriptions and concert ticket sales. 

7. PAYMENTS. The main items of expenditure are those associated with choir rehearsals and concerts. No grants are given by the Society and no governance costs were incurred. There are no contingent liabilities.
