**What the charity does:** The pipe band performs locally, each week from the end of May until mid September.

**Objectives:** (a) to advance and encourage piping and drumming in the Royal Burgh of Dornoch and the surrounding area (note: at a later stage the Constitution speaks of 'the area served by the Band.') (b) to provide coaching and teaching, particularly for young people, in chanter, piping and drumming, and  (c) to arrange programmes of piping and drumming for the Non-playing members may be appointed at the discretion of the Band Management Committee and will be subject to a fee. entertainment of the public and to foster appreciation of these arts.
