**What the charity does:** Augustine UnitedChurch brings together Christians from Congregational, Presbyterian, Churches of Christ and the Metropolitan Community Church. It is part of a Local Ecumenical Covenant with St Columba&#x27;s-by-the-Castle (Scottish Episcopal Church) and Greyfriars Kirk (Church of Scotland), with whom it is committed to work to establish a united and positive Christian presence in the centre of Edinburgh. The Church Centre (‘Centre’) situated on George IV Bridge offers a permanent home to Christian Aid and Jubilee Scotland. We welcome in the name of Christ all who wish to use our building for the promotion of peace, freedom of thought and freedom of expression. Augustine United Church is an active, inclusive Christian community. We affirm and include people of all ages, abilities, sexualities, gender identities, races and faiths. Our purpose is to worship, work and grow together to promote justice and wellbeing in our lives, community and globally.
