wrltten constltutlon. The objectlve of the School Fund Is to encourage educational activitie5 and addrtional
courses for puplls at Inverud8 Academy. especlally puplls part￿[patIng In soclal. muslcal and sports actlvltles
In connectlon wlth the school. The affalrs of the School Fund are conducted by the Trust88s who m88t and
act as frequently as necessary to conduct the buslness of th8 School Fund. The Management commlttee
consists of three Trustees elected at the Annual General Meeting. The TTUStees, namely the Rector, Deputy
Rector and the School Administrative Asslslant of Inverude Academy SeGretsry and Treasurer are appointed
as per the con8titution.

The net surplus for th8 year was £29,075 (2024: surplus of £18.734>. Total Income for the year amount8d to
£246,630 {2024.' £187,272) and totsl expenditure for the year amounted to £217,555 (2024: £170,538).

This has b8en a busy year of activities al Inverurfe Academy wlth a number of addltlonal èxpèrfences
provlded for pupi18 .Resid8ntlal overseas trips to Dlsn8yl8nd Paris wlth the Science Faculty . Paris also with
the Mod8m Languagos Faculty , and a Battleflelds trip with the Hurnanlties Faculty, enjoyed by all who
partlclpated. CIos8r to home. rasldential trips to Mlllport wlth the Humanitles Faculty and Loch Ell adventures,
for S2 puplls
Royal Highland Show wllh HE staff, Edlnburgh Frlngè wlth Creative Arts Staff , Golhlc
Edlnburgh wtth the Engllsh Faculty , Cullodèn wllh the Humanltles Faculty w8r8 all very successful. Football
and N8tball teams contlnua to comp8t8 agalnst other schools in Aberdeenshire and across Scotland. Duk8 of
Edlnburgh at V8rfous I&v61s wlth staff supportlng pupll out of school axpèdences. Gaography and Sclence
field trlps were supwrt8d ag81n thls year. 8s were Busln8ss and Langu8g8S Vlslts to RGU and th8 Unlverslty.
Dr8m8 Staff led day trlps to the thaatre and to Sky offices In Llvlngston. Humanltles staff led a prlson
experlence Irlp.
Our Barista Coffee Club Is provldlng further pupil experiences. The schod was d81ight8d to r8cefv8 generous
donatlons from our Parent Council. a gardenlng grant, football donatlon. a travel grant and 8 grant to support
trip lo the Gordon Highlanders museum. We have an additional local buslness sponsorshlp for our annual
awards trophles A donalion from Build Your Future as a result of pupN partlclpatlon in a compelltlon. Grants
also received to eneble indivldual pupll participation on re5Klenlial trips. Our school Charlty group fundralslng
supports our donations to other groups.

Firture plans
In th8 year ahead, plans are well underway for another r881dentlal over8e8S trlp to Iceland run by Humanlti83
8taff, a Naples trip run by HE staff. and a DSsneyl8nd trlp run by Sdence 8t8ff. We also plan to run another
resldentjal S2 Outward Bound 8xperi8nce to Loch Eil . We will also support sporting, Duke of Edlnburgh, and
ongoing d8partment proposals to enhance pupll experSen¢es We wlll also conlnue to support our varlous
sportlng groups.
Reserves
As a result of th8 surplus of £29.075 (2024: surplus of £16.734) for the year, th8 School Fund held
unre5tr1Gled funds of £211.552 (2024: £182,477) at the year end. Restrlcted funds showed no movement In
the year and totalled £2,188 (2024: £2,168).
Assets
Assets of the School Fund at the y8ar 8nd whlch Is made up of cash at bank totalled £213.720 (2024:
£184,645).

Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Re9uiations
2006. The charity trus1885 conslder that audlt requlrement of R8gulatlon 10(11 (d) of the 2006 Accounts
Regulatlons does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as requSred und8r seciion 44(1)
(c) of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my altention.
