Tlie Guild h4id been active in Ochiltree Parish Church for 94 years but. due lo the decrease in numbers allending, in 2021 members were invited io allend Stsir Guild M¢eiing75 where they have been warmly wLILunied. The l.unch Club is held weekly during (he winier months and caters for many people within Ihc ongregation and local communily. Thi5 has proved to be very successful and is well altended. A g?ood numbL'r uf children from Ochiliree Primary School also enjoy coming across from the school at lunchiim¢. The F lower Group is managed by th¢ elders who organises a rota of people to arrange tlowers in the church each week afier which the flc>w¢rs are delivered lo ihe sick and elderl! wiihin the communily. Six groups of volunteers are responsible for cleaning the Church weekly througThout the ysw.

The Interim Moderator is chaplain lo the school and has an open invitalion to visii the staff and pupils. The school used the church for their Easler and Christsnas Nativiiy Services. 'lThe Annual Burns SuppL'r was held in February 2024. A large number of local ople, and friend5 from neig,hbouring lowns and villages. supported the evenl. The new Pr¢5byiery Plan has yet lo IK adopted. Much discussion took place during the year but, Icillowing volingj in all churches in December, the Union of Coylion. Drongan, Siair and Ochiltree hds not yet been fully agreed. Presbytery to lake re5ponsibiliiy for ihe next steps required io move towards the Union... Aehievem¢nts and Performance Sunday morning worship brings people logelher to prais¢ God. Members participate in the Service by reading the chosen Bible Passage5 during worship. An exLcllL'ni organist provides thc music cvery Sunday. Members who are housebound are kept intormed 41bout Ihe lifL ol the church. Every week the Interim Moderaior shares his Sunddy RellcLlion on OchilireL' Church's facebook page. ThL SaLramenl of Holy Communion Service was celebrai¢d in February. May and Oclober. The l.larvest Thanksgiving Service in October included a "Back io Church" invilalion. A Spring? edition ol- Ochilire¢ Church 14ulletin was published and made available to members. li was also distributed throubhoul the villagye for the local community's infornialion regarding church (ICtiviti¢s. The Church Magiazine was not prinled in 2024. An Inal dppeal 15 made to Ihe Longregiaiion and members of the Communiiy for Christmas gifts. OchilirL¥' Church has now supponed Easl Ayrshire Women's Aid lor iwenty two years. 1-hL charily is exlrL'm¢ly gratelul lor the church's continued support as this allows them lo supply and purlhase suilablL' ¥ills for the women and children. Ochiltree Hub supports the church by appealing lor donaiions. Chri%lian Aid and the Ayrshire Hospice received rtnancial donations during the year. Finllncial Ilei'iew ThL principal source of income is the weekly offerings. During 2024 iwo fundraising aclivilies were held; the Burn5 Supper and the Thursday Lunch Club. Th¢ Church Hall. which is available lo various ouiside organisalions. raised some income in 2024. 'I'hL Church. Flall and Manse buildings are continually. monilored and maintenance work is carried out as rcquired. Inlerior and exlerior repairs were done on the ChurLh and Hall buildings. A contract is in plaLe lor the annual service of ihe Church, Hall and Manse boilers. Thc Manse was fully refurbishLd. lo a very high siandard. in 2021. li was let to a member on a Cdretdker contract for Seeral months during the year as he had io tnove out of his honie due to a SLrious fire, 'rhe Manse is once again unoccupied.
