'the advancement of education'

Our prime purpose is to advance education. As a 3-18 independent day school charity our purpose is to offer, sustain, and constantly improve an accessible and affordable high-quality curricular and co-curricular education to all the children of Aberdeen and the wider North East of Scotland. We then seek to deliver this educational experience to our enrolled pupils. To support this purpose, in line with the philanthropic ethos of our founder, Robert Gordon, and our commitment to public benefit, we provide tuition fee support bursaries, to give an opportunity for as many children as possible to access a Gordon’s education who might otherwise not be able to afford the fees. We look to deliver our prime purpose in line with our published core values. In terms of community, we seek to both foster a vibrant alumni community across the globe, and be active and collaborative contributors to the Aberdeen community, both economically and through philanthropy and direct engagement.

Objectives: The advancement of education.
