Multiple Sclerosis Society kottish Council for Care of Spastics (Now called Mrs Scobie Trust for the Disabledl Scottish National Institution for the War Blinded 9 The firm of Connelly & Yeoman, Solicitors, 78 High Street, Arbroath are to receive fees of £1.200 plus VAT of £240 Tru51ee ds 8 P8rtr18r in that fim) until he retire£l 30th Wl 2015. Trlee was a partner in that fimi until 30th April 2011 after which date he became a consultant io that firm Ple lld from the firm 30th April 2013. 10 No expenses were paid to the trustees. 11 The charlty underrakes no activities other than rnonitorin8 the investment5 and distributin8 the income as required by the Trust Disposition and Settlement. 12 The Trustees are diretted by the Trust Disposition and Settlement to pay out the incorne as before stated. The Trustees have no powers to distribute capital and therefore no specific reserves require to be set aside as the capital of the Trust cannot be spent. 13 No donations were made to the charity durinq the financial year. Respectlve responsibilities of trustees and examlner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in actordance with the terms of the Charities and Truslee Investment Iscotlandl Act 2CH)51"the 2005Act"l and the Charities Accounts Iscotlandl Regulations 2006 las amended) I'the 2006 Regulations"). The charity trustees Consider that the audit requirements of Regulation 10111 Idl of the 21KJ6 Regulations do not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 4411) Icl of the 2005 Att and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Independent 8xamlner's statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Regulations An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accour)ts presented with these records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any suth matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express and audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. Independent examlner's statement In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable cause lo believe that in any material respect the requirements.. al lo keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44{1 } la) of the 2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Regulations, and bl lo prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Regulations have not been met, or to which, in my opinion. attention should be drawn in order lo enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
