**Purposes:** The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following:   The organisation is established for the public benefit to advance the following purposes insofar as is exclusively charitable in law:  1.	The relief of those experiencing a need relating to their mental health, including by:  •	providing emotional, practical and therapeutic support to individuals and families affected by mental health difficulties;  •	offering counselling services, peer support, and appropriate signposting to specialist providers.   2.	The advancement of health (in particular good mental health) and the saving of lives, including by:  •	promoting improved understanding of mental health conditions among the public;  •	reducing stigma associated with mental illness through information, awareness campaigns and community engagement.   3.	The advancement of education in matters relating to mental health, including by:  •	providing training, workshops and educational programmes aimed at increasing knowledge, early intervention, and the ability to make informed decisions about mental wellbeing.   4.	The advancement of research into the causes, prevention, treatment and understanding of mental health conditions, and the dissemination of useful results for public benefit.   5.	The promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and public services working in the field of mental health, including by:  •	advocating for improvements to mental health policy, services and resource allocation where such advocacy is for the public benefit and does not involve party political activity.   6.	The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, disability, ill health or other disadvantage, by:  •	supporting individuals to build resilience, develop coping strategies, increase independence and improve their overall wellbeing and quality of life.  •	Providing food and other resources from time to time.
