Activities
4.1. The Charity’s Objects are specifically restricted to the advancement of health, education and wellbeing of young adults with disabilities and special educational needs (“beneficiaries”) in the Banbridge and surrounding area (“area of benefit”) and in particular: 4.1.1. to provide, or assist in the provision of various programmes of education designed to assist the beneficiaries in the area of benefit in relation to personal, social and emotional development; 4.1.2. to promote social inclusion and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare with the objective of promoting independence, dignity and inclusion; and 4.1.3. such other exclusively charitable purposes in accordance with the law as the Trustees determine from time to time. Nothing in the Articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with s.2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
