Objects 4. The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following: 1. Advancement of Education To deliver education and training programmes (including through digital media such as podcasts) designed to increase knowledge and understanding of public decision-making, civic participation, social issues, and advocacy skills among individuals and community groups in Northern Ireland. These programmes aim to equip participants to engage effectively with democratic institutions, thereby fostering a more informed, confident, and active citizenry. 2. Research and Knowledge Sharing on Community Needs To conduct, commission, promote, and publish research into the social, economic, and cultural issues affecting communities in Northern Ireland. The charity will, where possible, engage communities as co-researchers and ensure that research findings are accessible, relevant, and beneficial for improving local initiatives, influencing public services, and supporting positive social change. 3. Advancement of Community Development and Citizenship To support, promote, and deliver initiatives that strengthen community capacity, encourage participation in civic life, build cross-community relationships, and reduce social and political exclusion, thereby contributing to social cohesion and reconciliation. 4. Advancement of Peace and Reconciliation To promote peace, mutual understanding, and cooperation among communities in Northern Ireland through dialogue, education, and collaborative projects which foster respect, tolerance, and shared understanding.
