**Purposes:** The Objects for which the Company is established are:   the advancement of animal welfare in particular (but not exclusively) the welfare of birds;   the advancement of education and in particular in the subject of ornithology and related sciences; and   the advancement of science, environmental protection and improvement for the purposes of conserving birds, other fauna, flora and the natural environment;   in the United Kingdom and beyond, whilst principally at (but not limited to) the Old Lighthouse Island and Mew Island of the Copeland Islands, Northern Ireland, for the benefit of the public and future generations.
