**Purposes:** The charity is established: To promote the positive mental health and wellbeing of those within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBTQ+) community in Newry, Mourne & Down, and surrounding areas, by the provision of advocacy, practical and emotional support thereby increasing self-esteem and positive identity amongst said persons; To Promote equality and diversity by the elimination of discrimination in relation to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ+) persons and by raising awareness of issues affecting said persons, by all or any of the following charitable means: - Promote positive LGBTQ+ representation for women in Newry through the provision of LGBTQ+ services and events. - Provide opportunities for LGBTQ Women in the area to meet and build social and community groups. - Provide learning, training, and inclusion opportunities for LGBTQ+ Women. - Creating a network of LGBTQ+ Women in the Newry area. - Creating a safe space for LGBTQ+ Women - Address misconceptions of the LGBTQ+ community and promote diversity and inclusion.
