**Purposes:** The Charity's objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following:  (a) To advance the Sikh religion and culture for the benefit of the public (hereinafter called the “beneficiaries”) in Northern Ireland (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) by any such charitable means as the trustees may from time to time determine.  (b) The advancement of education, in particular by the provision of language classes and Sikh history and culture classes for members of the Sikh community and the general public and by any other charitable means as the trustees may from time to time determine.  (c) To promote good relations between members of the Sikh community and persons from different racial and ethnic groups in the area of benefit for the benefit of the public.  (d) To relieve the needs of the Sikh community through the provision of advice and guidance and through the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation and by any other charitable means the trustees may from time to time determine, with the purpose of improving conditions of life and reducing social isolation.
