**Purposes:** To engage in charitable work to relieve and improve the position of people living in poverty, and to:  (a) Advance education and carry out research into the effects and clauses of poverty for the benefit of the community, and in particular to: (b) Develop and facilitate anti-poverty campaigns and lobbying activities at Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, and European Levels;  For purposes of the Company people living in poverty are defined as:  People living in Poverty are defined within the objects clause as ‘Persons, families and groups of persons whose resources (material, cultural or social) are so limited as to exclude them from the minimum acceptable way of life.
