Trustees Report
Lower Erne Community First Responders will provide life-saving care in a range of medical
emergencies, pending arrival of the ambulance service. Volunteers will preserve Life, prevent
deterioration and promote recovery. Volunteers will be trained and revaLidated yearly in
emergency first aid for situations such as choking and cardiac arrest. Comfort and support will
be provided to family members and the community during medical emergencies. The
benefici8ries of the Charity, will be everyone within the areas covered by LECFR, that require the
services of a first responder in a medical emergency.
In setting our objectives and planning our activities forthe year, the trustees have given careful
consideration to the Ch8rity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the
activities have helped to achieve the Charity's purpose and provide a benefit to the
benefici8ries.
The Responders attend on average 16 cells per month. Provldlng support to patlents
who have contacted the Nl Ambulance Service until such times 8s NIAS arrive at the
scene.
During the reporting period approximately 60 patients h8ve 8vailed of the service.
We have 16 fully trained First Responders.
During the year we held 8 table quiz to raise funds for our Charity along wlth t8klng part In a bag
pack exercise in Asda Ennlskillen at Christmas .
We have also received donations from the local Masonic Lodge, Enni$killen Rotary Club,
Ballin8m8l18rd RBP 8nd Cooper Wilklnson Sollcltors from events heLd in support of our Ch8rity
along with a number of donations from the general public.
We applied for and received Grants from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and SLieve
Rushen Wind Farm.
The Donnelly Foundation provided a donation in support of one of their employees who recently
joined us as a First Responder.

Independent Examlners Report
I have carried out an independent examination of the accounts of Lower Erne Communty First
Responders for the year ended 31 March 2025.
Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
As the Charity's trustees you are responsibLe for preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the Charities Act (Nl} 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
Examlne the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act.
To followthe procedures18id down In the general directions given by the Charity
Commission under Section 65{9)(b) of the Charities Act.
State whether particu18r matters have come to my attention.
Basls of Independent Examlner's statement
I have examined your charity accounts as required uncler Section 65 of the Charities Act and an
examination was carried out in accordance with the gener8L directions given bythe Charity
Commission Nl under section 65 {9}{b) of the Charities Act.
The examination included a review of the accounting records kept bythe Charlty and 8
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from YOLJ as Charity
Trustees concerning any such matters.
As the Independent Ex8miner my rol8 is to state whether any material matters have come to my
attention giving cause to believe:.
That accountlng records were not kept in accord8nce with section 63 of the Ch8rlties
Act.
That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
That the accounts do not comply with the 8ccounting requir8ments of the Charities Act.
That there is further information needed for 8 proper understanding of the accounts to
be re8ched.
